Blue Dragon Medicinal Garden

In this project, we were invited to join with Think Playgrounds and UNIS Hanoi to design and implement a medicinal garden for Blue Dragon foundation.

The aim of this garden is to create a peaceful space for children and adults who have experienced trauma, and help them reconnect with nature.

Đom Đóm prepared the potting soil for the beds, including making carbonized rice husks (CRH) activated with fish amino acid (FAA), which was then mixed with vermicompost and garden soil.

We also prepared over 30 different species of native medicinal plants and flowers for the garden and guided the children on how to prepare the soil and take care of the plants.
